Pastry Pockets For Creole Style Piescreole 4 cup flour,all-purpose 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup vegetable shortening 1 egg 1 cup milk 1. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. 2. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender. 3. Add milk and form dough; divide dough into egg-size pieces. 4. Roll each piece of dough into a circle 6 inches in diameter; set aside.
