Seed Luncheon Loafbreads, irish 1 lb flour 4 oz margarine 2 oz butter 6 oz sugar 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon caraway seeds 3 oz candied peel 2 eggs 1 a little milk 1/4 teaspoon salt Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Rub in margarine and butter, add sugar, seeds and thinly sliced peel. Add beaten eggs with enough milk to make a light dough. Place in a well-greased loaf pan and bake 1 1/2 hours in a moderate oven (375F). (from FULL AND PLENTY, Maura Laverty)
