Opal Deneke's Fig Jamjams 6 1/2 lb ripe figs (see note #1) 1 can #2 1/2 crushed pineapple 4 1/2 lb sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon cloves 1 tablespoon allspice NOTE #1: Weigh figs after peeling, removing only the peeling that . easily pulls off with the stem. Mash peeled figs to fine pulp, add other ingredients. Mix thoroughly and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into hot sterile jars and seal.
