Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Konbu No Tsukukani


condiments, japanese

1 pkg konbu
1/2 cup sugar
6 cup water
1 tablespoon ginger
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon gourmet powder
2 1/2 cup shoyu

1. Wash Konbu and drain. Boil with water and vinegar and cook until soft, approximately 2 hours. 2. Add sugar, ginger, shoyu, and cook until liquid is almost absorbed.
