Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Baked Tuna Chow Mein Casserole


appetizers, fish, main dish, microwave

2 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon butter
7 oz can tuna
10 1/2 oz cream of mushroom soup
1 condensed
1 cup chow mein noodles
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup chow mein noodles

1. In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in Microwave Oven 30 seconds. 2. Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 3. Combine remaining ingredients except 1/3 cup chow mein noodles with vegetablesm Blend well. Top with 1/3 cup of chow mein noodles. Heat in Miicrowave Oven, uncovered, 10 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
