Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Dutch Stewed Potatoes


vegetables, penndutch

2 cup potato, raw, diced
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 teaspoon parsley, minced
1 each onion, sliced
2 teaspoon flour

Melt the butter and cook onion in it about 5 minutes. Add the salt, pepper, parsley and potatoes and cover with boiling water and cook until tender.
